DESCRIPTION
This course explores how nature-based learning and outdoor activities can support students’ wellbeing, motivation and social development.
Participants will learn practical methods for using natural environments to promote mindfulness, emotional resilience and positive relationships in the classroom. The course combines outdoor learning, reflective practice and creative activities designed to strengthen students’ connection with nature.
Teachers will gain strategies for creating safe, inclusive and engaging outdoor learning experiences that support both academic learning and student wellbeing.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- understand the role of nature-based learning in student wellbeing
- apply outdoor activities that support emotional and social development
- facilitate mindfulness and reflective activities in nature
- promote collaboration and communication among students
- design outdoor learning experiences that support wellbeing and motivation
- integrate nature-based methods into daily teaching practice

OBJECTIVES
The main objective of this training course is to provide a specific focus on outdoor education for preschool, primary and secondary schools.

The course fee is 480€. It includes the course program a guided town tour and an excursion.

Day 1 – Introduction to outdoor education & networking
Day 2 – Experiential learning and game-based outdoor activities
Day 3 – Field excursion and sensory outdoor learning
Day 4 – Creativity, ICT and outdoor classroom design
Day 5 – Adapting outdoor education to your school
Day 6 – Optional outdoor excursion
